Whether in foods, supplements or skincare, antioxidants pack a powerful punch; yet they are also the most unstable molecules, as anything – from light, to oxygen and water – can deactivate them!

Our belief is that one should never rely on one particular antioxidant to do the job! We simply think it is silly to glorify one alone. As several antioxidants can “fix” each other while under free radical attacks, it is much better to combine several in one formula, even if using each one at a relatively low level, and betting on the higher synergies of the sum.

Still, we have our favourites; as always – the ones closest to skin’s own composition are the best – we favour glutathione and superoxide dismutase. Keep green tea, berries, red wine and broccoli in your diet, more than on your skin, and get the best of both worlds!
